MONDAY - IKER LÓPEZ
Monday started with Julen's CATIA V5 classes. From 08:00 to 11:15, we focused on drawing a not very complicated piece in CATIA with the main purpose of learning how to insert parameters to a design. So what we did was parametrizing some of the measures the piece had, to make much easier changing them if it'd be necessary.
Then, in the fourth hour, Gaizka came to class and we continued working on the die, improving some of the aspects our design had a bit outdated.
TUESDAY- ALAIN PACHECO
We started with Gaizka and like every Tuesday, Gaizka started
explaining the CATIA tree, to continue the die. After that, we insert parameters
for the planes, constraints, dimensions,…
Then, in the third and the fourth hour, we started doing
columns, two columns with 42 diameters and the other two with 40 diameters.
In the last two hours, we insert the columns in the tree, and
then in the die, we insert a lot of holes to put t the columns.
THURSDAY-Oier Zabala
On Thursday we didn't have normal class because we went on a excursion to the Mercedes of Vitoria. When we arrived they explained to us how is going to be the visit, first of all the visit started in the first pavilion, there starts with a lot of robots joining the different plates, when that operatoins are finished the car only is the chassis.
After that the car have to go to paint and to clean. In this section we couldn't see anything because we didn't have the right clothes, but they explained us with a video how they work in that section.
Finally we went to the last section, for mi the most interesting. In the last section they finish all the car in different steps. In this chain works a lot of people and everyone has their job and the chain doesn't stop. When the car enters in this chain is only a piece of plates and when finished the car is prepared to drive.

Wednesday
Wednesday was a quiet day. We were preparing for our visit to Mercedes de Vitoria. We were reading about what they were doing and more information about this.
According to the videos and the information on the internet, it is a Vito van factory. It is the biggest Mercedes factory in Spain, and that is why it was very important for us to go to that tour. And after a few hours informing us of this factory, we write all the information and we continue to do the class challenge.
