Eighth Week (25/11/19 - 29/11/19)

MONDAY - IKER LÓPEZ

There wasn't anything special on Monday. We continued working on our project because Friday of that week will be the deadline to hand in both the report and the final design, so we were working on that eagerly and a bit nervous the whole day.

One teammate started working on the PPT for the presentation while the others continued working with CATIA V5  and with the report.

Step by step the work was been improved and updated successfully, but on Monday we still had so many things to add to the main project.

TUESDAY- Oier Zabala

On Tuesdays as always, we start the day with Gaizka but this Tuesday was something different because we started with an exam. The exam had two parts, first the part that was without notes, 5 questions about materials and about the die, and the second part was an exercise about bent of a piece, we had to calculate de development and the cutting force calculating the perimeter.

After that Gaizka continued with the oral questions in the different groups, but as we answer that questions on Friday we continued with the last retouching’s of the die. The die must be finished for the Friday and we must finish the notebook (txosten), assemble some pieces in the die and start preparing the presentation.

Wendnsday-- Andoni Miguel

Today is a quieter day, all the work we have done in the previous weeks is seen in the challenge. We are all more relaxed because we are already finishing the last things of the die. Already all the standard elements inserted, the chosten is almost finished, and only that the powerpoint to do.
Having so much time, we went to see a presentation about some engineers who  present  us their project. They have presented  us how they are building a car to race in a circuit. They want to build an electric car with recycled parts, but using an electric motor. And they made that presentation to present a project to manufacture more electric cars and fewer diesel cars. and when the presentation was over, we went back to class to finish the project.

THURSDAY-ALAIN PACHECO

We started the day with Julen, and we continued doing the CATIA die. We put the last pieces to finish the die because today is the last day.

After the first break, we continued the report to deliver tomorrow at 8:00. One group, they started doing the three-dimensional machine exam and Nagorte says to the other groups the day of the other exams and we are going to do the next Tuesday.

The last two hours we continue finishing the CATIA die and the report to deliver tomorrow.

FRIDAY - IKER LÓPEZ

Friday 29th of November was the very last day of our first challenge. That was the deadline to hand in the whole project (including the report) so of course, we also had to make the presentation of what we had done until that day to share the work that each group had developed through those three months.

The event took place at the main hall of Maristak and students from 2nd CMM and also an ex-worker from a stamping company attended to watch our presentations.
